1. And off we go - Through Europe with the camper van
  2. Hiking along the Canal du Midi
  3. Our ball junkie and the consequences

After a long journey, we have finally arrived in the Mediterranean. It's the end of November, but in contrast to home, the weather here is quite pleasant. Although the mistral wind is blowing, it's still pleasant with around 14 degrees and sunshine. So we decided to take a short hike between our camper pitch right by the sea and the Canal du Midi, which runs just a few kilometres to the north.

We are close to Cap d'Adge - the area is heavily built up, with extensive housing estates and leisure parks, but there are always small natural areas between the tourist resorts, like this one. There was plenty to see - flamingos, Camargue horses, badger tracks.

For anyone travelling with a camper, we can recommend the pitch at the "Plage du Bosquet" (Avenue de la Gran Maire). The pitch is extremely quiet - at least in December - and electricity, water and WiFi are included for €11.60 per night (as of December 2022). Fortunately, when we arrived, the barrier or machine was broken and we were able to stay three nights for free and enjoy the benefits.
