V\u00e4dret \u00e4r \u00e5terigen en dr\u00f6m, s\u00e5 att de f\u00f6rsta fj\u00e4rilarna redan orsakar v\u00e5rfeber hos en del m\u00e4nniskor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I bergen var det ganska varmt i morse, runt sju grader, men dalarna var iskalla och t\u00e4ckta av isfrost. Sidov\u00e5gor stiger upp fr\u00e5n \u00e4ngarna genom den redan varma februarisolen.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-2 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex en dal, uppt\u00e4cker vi en s\u00e4rskild egenskap som kallas h\u00e5ris eller isull (se bilderna ovan). P\u00e5 avst\u00e5nd ser det ut att vara en svamp, men nej, det \u00e4r faktiskt en ganska s\u00e4llsynt form av is, som bara kan ses under mycket speciella f\u00f6rh\u00e5llanden. H\u00e4r \u00e4r en kort sammanfattning fr\u00e5n LWG Bavaria: Vid detta naturfenomen bildas ish\u00e5r p\u00e5 d\u00f6da grenar av l\u00f6vtr\u00e4d. Det speciella med denna isform \u00e4r att den inte v\u00e4xer som en istapp i \u00e4ndarna, utan fr\u00e5n basen. F\u00f6r att h\u00e5ris ska kunna bildas m\u00e5ste det ha regnat mycket under en eller tv\u00e5 dagar innan och temperaturen m\u00e5ste d\u00e5 ligga strax kring fryspunkten. Detta m\u00e5ste f\u00f6ljas av en period utan vind. Temperaturen m\u00e5ste sedan sjunka under fryspunkten f\u00f6r att is ska kunna bildas. Men det f\u00e5r inte heller bli f\u00f6r kallt, s\u00e5 att processen i grenen inte stannar upp. Strukturernas tillv\u00e4xt sker genom att vattnet f\u00f6rst fryser i toppen och expanderar. Men ytterligare vatten trycks in fr\u00e5n grenens insida. N\u00e4r det n\u00e5r ytan fryser det ocks\u00e5 och expanderar. Enligt en studie utl\u00f6ses h\u00e5risen av mycelet fr\u00e5n vinteraktiva svampar, vars aeroba \u00e4mnesoms\u00e4ttning producerar gaser som f\u00f6rskjuter det vatten som finns i tr\u00e4et till ytan. Man har funnit att h\u00e5rris endast v\u00e4xer p\u00e5 d\u00f6da grenar av l\u00f6vtr\u00e4d som koloniserats av den rosenskimrande gel\u00e9skorpan (Exidiopsis effusa). De exakta kemiska och fysikaliska processer som ger upphov till ish\u00e5ren \u00e4r fortfarande oklara. Forskarna uppt\u00e4ckte dock rester av organiska \u00e4mnen i de sm\u00e4lta ish\u00e5ren. Bland dessa fanns lignin. Ish\u00e5rforskaren M\u00e4tzler misst\u00e4nker att ligninet eller ett liknande \u00e4mne g\u00f6r att isen beh\u00e5ller sin ovanliga form. H\u00e5rriset kan d\u00e4rmed fungera som ett slags frostskydd f\u00f6r tr\u00e4dsvampen. P\u00e5 s\u00e5 s\u00e4tt fryser vattnet inte i grenen d\u00e4r svampen lever, utan utanf\u00f6r. Den energi som frig\u00f6rs under frysningsprocessen g\u00f6r ocks\u00e5 att grenen blir n\u00e5got varmare \u00e4n omgivningen. g\u00e5r v\u00e5r vandring mindre ofta l\u00e4ngs Our River, utan oftare i sidodalarna och \u00f6ver ibland anstr\u00e4ngande uppf\u00f6rsbackar, som g\u00f6r att v\u00e5ra krafter minskar mer och mer. Efter g\u00e5rdagens anstr\u00e4ngande dag har vi mycket att k\u00e4mpa f\u00f6r. Dessutom finns det oframkomliga passager p\u00e5 grund av vindbrott i branta sluttningar, men vi forts\u00e4tter att k\u00e4mpa oss uppf\u00f6r berget. N\u00e4r mycket el\/energi f\u00f6rbrukas producerar pumpkraftverket energi genom att sl\u00e4ppa ut vatten fr\u00e5n den \u00f6vre bass\u00e4ngen genom turbinerna och p\u00e5 s\u00e5 s\u00e4tt generera energi. Det \u00e4r allts\u00e5 inget annat \u00e4n ett stort batteri p\u00e5 toppen av berget. Pumpkraftverket byggdes mellan 1954 och 1964 och g\u00e5r tillbaka p\u00e5 planer fr\u00e5n 1925. V\u00e5r tur slutar idag och h\u00e4r tidigare \u00e4n planerat, eftersom v\u00e5ra batterier var p\u00e5 sin l\u00e4gsta niv\u00e5. Vi vill h\u00e4r passa p\u00e5 att ber\u00f6mma Luxemburgs kollektivtrafiksystem. I Vianden, som \u00e4r ganska lantligt bel\u00e4get, g\u00e5r bussar varje timme p\u00e5 s\u00f6ndagar till n\u00e4rliggande Diekirch - gratis, precis som i resten av Luxemburg. Det skulle vara ot\u00e4nkbart i Tyskland. S\u00e5 vi utnyttjade denna m\u00f6jlighet och blev k\u00f6rda till bilen som stod parkerad vid v\u00e5r egentliga destination.
